Built for a Long Work Stay
Every unit is a full apartment, not a room. The kitchen is complete, with a stovetop, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, cookware, and dishware, so you can cook for yourself through a long assignment instead of eating out every night.
Each apartment has a dedicated workspace with a wired Ethernet connection and reliable Wi-Fi, which matters when you are working remotely or charting after a shift in a rural valley. Utilities are included, so there is nothing to set up.
The units are quiet and soundproof, with heating and air conditioning, a luxury mattress, a large walk-in shower, and a large TV. Check-in is contactless with your own private door code, so a late arrival after a long drive or a night shift is simple and secure. Parking is free and on-site, and a coin-op laundromat is right across the street. An ADA-accessible studio is available for guests who need it.

Palisades Lodge is at 110 N Main Street in Big Pine, on Highway 395. Northern Inyo Hospital in Bishop is 15 miles north, about a 20-minute drive. The lodge is also central to LADWP, Caltrans, and construction and utility work across the Owens Valley.
Big Pine sits at the quiet end of the valley, which makes it an easy place to rest, cook, and focus between workdays.
